Terrible fake!
The cameraman pans to the dog to get the dogs expression (alert; ears up
and eyes wide and focused on the alien). If this were real, the cameraman
wouldn’t have thought of causally panning to the dog. He would have done
one of two things: 1) He would have kept his camera focused on the alien at
all times, or 2) He would have ran like hell. I think he casually pans to
the dog a couple of times. Very unnatural behavior for someone who is
actually capturing a real live alien on camera. Plus… The dog ‘should’
have been barking at the alien, or chased it. That’s considering the dog is
a normal dog that barks and chases squirrels, rabbits and strangers.
Therefore… Bad, no….
